With the range of engineered dental ceramics available today, the material selected for crown fabrication depends on the location of the tooth, the stresses on that tooth, and the esthetic requirements of the case. Certain all-ceramic crowns are better suited for back teeth, while others fulfill the aesthetic requirements of a front tooth.
